The cause of the outage was mechanical damage to 10 kV subscriber cable lines during earthworks carried out by an organization without coordination with "Minskenergo".

The incident occurred on Thursday in the afternoon.
Cable lines #6 of substation "Vodozabor", as well as lines #3 and #7 of substation "Borovlyany", were temporarily disconnected on the 10 kV cable lines.
The cause of the outage was mechanical damage to 10 kV subscriber cable lines during earthworks carried out by an organization without coordination with "Minskenergo".
Due to this, the power supply to several socially significant facilities, including the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Oncology and Medical Radiology, as well as the Minsk District Hospital, was partially disrupted, BelTA reports.
Later, the power supply in the Minsk district was restored.
