Today, a commemorative event dedicated to the 83rd anniversary of the Khatyn tragedy is taking place at the Khatyn memorial complex. The event is called a 'nationwide memory vigil,' but Alexander Lukashenka did not appear.

Today, a large-scale event is being held in Khatyn, dedicated to the 83rd anniversary of the tragedy when the village was burned down by fascists along with 149 residents.








Almost all the country's leadership arrived for the events — Prime Minister Alexander Turchyn, Head of Lukashenka's Administration Dmitry Krutoy, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Igor Sergeyenko, Chairman of the National Bank Roman Golovchenko, Deputy Prime Minister Natallia Pietkievič, State Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich, Minister of Defense Viktor Khrenin, Chairman of the State Security Committee Ivan Tsertsel, Chairman of the Supreme Court Andrei Shved, and others.
Alexander Lukashenka did not appear. He sent a wreath.
The reasons why he did not come have not yet been announced by propaganda. Yesterday he had hockey.
