The visit of Belarusian democratic leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya to Ukraine has been postponed indefinitely. Her press secretary and sources in Ukrainian diplomatic circles informed the publication "Vot Tak" about this on March 24, writes "Belsat".

The trip to Kyiv was planned for March 25 — Freedom Day. As part of the visit, Tsikhanouskaya was supposed to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. However, new dates have not yet been determined.
As Tsikhanouskaya's press secretary Hanna Krasulina clarified, it is not about a cancellation, but a postponement of the trip — schedule coordination is ongoing. According to information from Ukrainian diplomats, the reason was technical circumstances, including a mismatch in Tsikhanouskaya's and Zelenskyy's schedules.
According to unofficial data, the decision to postpone might have been made at the last moment: as late as the morning of March 24, journalists were invited to cover the visit, but were later asked to wait.
The planned visit was supposed to be Tsikhanouskaya's first official visit to Ukraine. Earlier, she met with Zelenskyy in January 2026 in Vilnius, where she received an official invitation from him.
Tsikhanouskaya had previously stated her intention to visit Ukraine on March 25, noting that such a visit could become an important signal of support for Belarus and solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
