Mother of Belarusian who fought against Ukraine and was arrested in Belarus for treason recorded a video message to Lukashenka
She is outraged that her son, Maksim Ziaziulchyk, who participated in the "SMO" on Russia's side and has awards, was arrested in Belarus when he came to renew documents, and in the colony, he was "artificially made into a malicious violator."

Information about Maksim Ziaziulchyk, a native of Rudensk, who was convicted in Belarus after returning from Ukrainian captivity, became known last year. Now his mother has shared details, noted the channel "Vitebsk, I'm Walking!"
Alla Ryśaviets, Maksim Ziaziulchyk's mother, recorded a video appeal to Aliaksandr Lukashenka, in which she asks for justice and effectively tries to secure for her son the possibility of submitting a pardon request.
According to her, doing so is almost impossible now: according to her version, in the colony, Maksim was artificially made a "malicious violator," deprived of some of the proper conditions of detention, and for attempts to send a petition to Lukashenka, he was sent to the punishment cell.
She fears that this appeal may also negatively affect his conditions of detention.
In the appeal, she also publicly announces the sentence for the first time: according to her, Ziaziulchyk was given 7 years of reinforced regime under Part 1 of Art. 356 of the Criminal Code of Belarus — the article on "treason to the state."
She does not specify the essence of the accusations.
She says that her son fought on Russia's side, was awarded the medal "For Courage," nominated for the Order of Courage, and, according to her, "saved and trained many guys in the SMO territory." After captivity, she claims, he signed a new contract with the Russian army and passed all checks.
According to the mother, Maksim spent a year and a half in Ukrainian captivity. She claims that he was subjected to torture, provocations, beatings, hunger, and denied medical care, with his wounds festering. At the same time, she says, when her son was captured, "no one in Belarus even lifted a finger to help."
She says that Ziaziulchyk was detained when he came to Belarus to renew his documents.
Maksim Ziaziulchyk is a citizen of Belarus who fought as part of the PMC "Redut" and was captured on September 19, 2022. After an exchange on February 8, 2024, he was handed over to Russia, and in the fall of 2024, he was detained while crossing the border between Russia and Belarus. On August 8, 2025, he was tried in the Mahiliou Regional Court in a closed session under the article on state treason. Earlier, media reported on an article for mercenary activities, but Ziaziulchyk's mother does not mention this.
