Belarus is accused of selling Russian oil without paying the fee.
The Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Energy of Russia will analyze the export of oil products from Belarus to third countries.
Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich — who is in charge of fuel and energy complex in the Russian government — gave an appropriate instruction to the profile departments.
“We have indirect evidence regarding the increase in exports of solvent. So, one should work more carefully to confirm this information,” said the head of the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Alexander Novak.
According to him, the Deputy Prime Minister took the decision to initiate an investigation after the previous meeting on June 13, which dealt with this issue.
As reported previously, Russia’s ambassador to Belarus Mr. Surikov made a guess that Belarus re-exports Russian oil under the guise of solvents and thinners.
