Lukashenka Congratulates Newly Elected Secretary General of Communist Party of China Xi Jinping
Aliaksandr Lukashenka has congratulated Xi Jinping on his election as Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
“With great pleasure I recall our meeting which took place as part of your official visit to Minsk in March 2010, your sincere and concerned attitude towards Belarus, appreciation of the potential of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its development.
“I am pleased that the agreements we reached gave a strong impetus to the Belarusian-Chinese strategic partnership. We have built a solid foundation for the development of all areas of bilateral relations and, first of all, for the implementation of new big investment projects,” the message of greetings reads.
“I hope that thanks to your continued support the friendly ties between our two countries will be further consolidated and expanded,” the head of state noted.
Lukashenka wished Xi Jinping every success in the responsible work to implement large-scale plans outlined at the 18th Congress of the China Communist Party, strong health, and happiness. The Belarusian head of state also wished prosperity to the Chinese people.
