Bad weather disrupted power supply in Minsk region

Deterioration of weather conditions on the evening of December 20 led to power supply interruptions in the Minsk region. The cause of the accidents was ice accumulation on trees due to fog and black ice, which caused branches to fall on power lines, "Minskenergo" reports.

As of Saturday evening, emergency recovery brigades were working in four settlements of the region.

Specialists warn: if you find broken wires, do not approach them closer than 8 meters. Such incidents should be immediately reported to the emergency service by calling 115.

As forecasters predict further deterioration of weather conditions, services continue to operate in an enhanced mode. Energy workers of RUE "Minskenergo" have switched to a mode of increased readiness.
