These issues are regulated by regulatory legal acts.
The Deputy Minister of Education mentioned that last Friday "there was a little more snow than usual for a Belarusian winter." At that time, it was decided in some districts to suspend the transportation of children to schools to avoid exposing children to unnecessary risk during transportation. However, by Saturday, the usual format was restored.
"Today we can say regarding yesterday and today that within the Republic of Belarus, transportation is functioning, there are no violations of the temperature regime in educational institutions, and the ambient air temperature does not yet correspond to the range when it is necessary to make a decision to suspend the activities of educational institutions," Kadlubay said.
We remind you that schoolchildren can stay home if the air temperature at 7 AM is below -25 degrees Celsius, and the wind is stronger than three meters per second.
