Increased concentration of pollen from allergenic plants is predicted in Grodno and Brest regions, which will be a severe test for people with allergies. This particularly concerns the pollen of flowering alder, writes Telegram channel @nadvorie.

The maximum pollen concentration will be observed closer to sunset, when air movement near the ground stops. According to forecasts from specialized resources and data from the Finnish Meteorological Institute, the number of pollen grains per cubic meter can reach approximately 1000 units at this time.

Alder pollen can cause reactions in allergy sufferers such as rhinitis, watery eyes, coughing, and even asthma attacks. Therefore, people with allergies are advised to limit their time outdoors during periods of maximum pollen concentration and use protective measures, such as masks and eye drops, if possible.
