"Nasha Niva" released a major story about "Pesnyary" star Leanid Bartkevich

April 13 marks five years since the death of the Honored Artist of the BSSR.

The life of Leanid Bartkevich, the soloist of the famous "Pesnyary", had it all: a poor childhood, sudden fame, an army of fans, unhappy marriages with scandals and betrayals, as well as many years of emigration and a triumphant return to Belarus.

Many consider him second only to Mulyavin, while others call him a freak and a fantasist, who towards the end of his life began to invent incredible stories about a romance with Pugacheva or friendships with Schwarzenegger and Trump.

But what was it really like? "Nasha Niva" told about Bartkevich's life and dramas in its major story.
