Nearly a Ton of Antlers Illegally Attempted to Be Exported from Belarus to Russia
A large shipment of unusual cargo, which was attempted to be imported from Belarus without proper documents, was detained in the Smolensk region. It concerns almost 800 kilograms of ossified deer and elk antlers, Rosselkhoznadzor reported .

During the inspection, it was revealed that there were no veterinary accompanying documents for this product, which are mandatory for such goods. Importing such cargo without confirmation of origin and safety is prohibited.
As a result, the entire shipment was not allowed into Russian territory. Specialists are now investigating how this cargo managed to reach the border without the necessary documents in the first place.
