Nine-year-old boy in Minsk gave safe with parents' money to 17-year-old courier
A fake police officer called the boy on a messenger, threatening to imprison his mother.
To avoid this, it was necessary to take all the money from home and hand it over to the courier.
The schoolboy got scared and gave the family safe with six thousand dollars to an unknown person whom he let into the apartment, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
Investigators identified the courier. It turned out to be a 17-year-old student of a metropolitan college, who was also deceived by the attackers. First, they offered him to replace the intercom and obtained his passport data, and then threatened his mother with imprisonment.
To avoid this, the teenager agreed to carry out the scammers' task. He sawed the safe open and hid the money in a secret place.
