According to a statement from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have carried out successful strikes against several important targets on Russian territory, including the "TANTK named after Beriev" aircraft repair plant in Taganrog, Rostov region.

As stated in the statement, the plant is modernizing Tu-95 strategic bombers and A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft. "According to preliminary information, a fire broke out in the workshop for repairing Tu-95 aircraft," the statement said.
On Tuesday, the Ukrainian military already reported a strike on "TANTK named after Beriev," suggesting that an experimental A-60 aircraft could have been destroyed.
Russian authorities reported on Tuesday that three people were killed in an attack on Taganrog, but did not confirm the strike on the aircraft factory.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also announced a new attack on the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory, which has repeatedly been targeted by drones. "Explosions were recorded in the target area, followed by a fire at the facility," the statement said.
The operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported at night that some technical equipment was damaged as a result of the strike on the refinery, "the tanks were not damaged." The fire has not yet been extinguished - only "open burning has been eliminated."
