In Belarus, "non-freezing liquid" with methanol levels exceeding the norm by hundreds of times was banned
Non-freezing liquid with a significant excess of the methanol norm has been banned in Belarus. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

By resolution No. 85 of December 23, 2025, of the Deputy Minister — Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Belarus, a ban was introduced on the circulation in the country of the non-freezing liquid for cars "IRIS" -30℃, manufactured in the Russian Republic of Chuvashia.
The reason for introducing the temporary sanitary measure was an exceedance of the hygienic norm for methanol content by 570.8 times, the Ministry of Health clarified.
