Migrants from Ethiopia have arrived at the agricultural enterprise «Mazheikava» (at the livestock farms «Biltautsy» and «New Century») in the Lida district. There are currently six people, but a few more are expected.
The migrants work on the «Biltavtsy» and «Novy Vek» farms as milkers and livestock breeders. The report was published by the chairman of the Lida District Executive Committee, Alyaksandr Vyarsotski.
«Despite working for only a week, the management notes: they are young, don't drink — a good example. They live in a dormitory, everything necessary for daily life is available,» he wrote.
According to him, people quickly adapt and become part of the team.
Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in the world, with high unemployment. Approximately 250,000 people leave Ethiopia every year. For most urban residents, a salary of around $80—$120 per month is considered normal. In agriculture, wages are lower.

Наивно полагать ,что они будут гаситься в колхозе за 300 евро в месяц.
