20 Thousand "Duty-Free" Electric Vehicles Can Be Imported into Belarus Annually
New rules will come into effect from January 22, 2026 — and will remain until the 20,000th electric vehicle is imported into Belarus.

The Eurasian Economic Commission has agreed on the number of cars that can be imported into various countries without paying customs duties.
Residents of Belarus are allowed to import 20 thousand "pure electric vehicles" in 2026 (code 8703 80 000 3 TN VED EAEU).
Residents of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan — 15 thousand "pure electric vehicles" and "series hybrids" each (code 8703 80 000 5 TN VED EAEU).
The privilege applies only to citizens permanently residing in Belarus, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. These cars cannot be sold to citizens of Russia and Kazakhstan.
The privilege will become effective on January 22, 2026 — and will remain valid until the entire quota is exhausted.
