Blogger "Merzkiy Kokobay" noticed a poster , which indicates that a new film, "Avatar: Flame and Ash," will be shown on the big screen at SKYLINE Cinema from January 1, 2026.

Previously in Belarus, the premiere of this film was scheduled for December 27, but it was reported that Russian distributors postponed it to January 8 — simultaneously with the showing in Russia.
In Russia, this is due to ideological reasons: during holidays, their own content is shown so that it has the opportunity to earn revenue. These are Russian fairy tales and cartoons: "Tsarevna Frog," "Prostokvashino," "Cheburashka 2."
In Belarus, the reason for the delay was stated as that distributors cannot independently purchase copies of the film — nothing can be done without a decision from Russia.
