“If it is a first offense, a fine of 20 monthly calculated indices (78,640 tenge — approximately 157 dollars) is stipulated. In case of a repeated violation within a year, sanctions are strengthened — either the fine amount is increased, or administrative arrest for up to 10 days is applied.
At the same time, this norm will be declarative in nature. This means that violations will not be detected automatically. The procedure will only begin after receiving an appeal from citizens — for example, through the eOtinish portal.
After this, an expert examination of the content for the presence of propaganda will be conducted.
