Lukashenka allocated money to support talented students. Kolya is on the list again

According to the decree signed by Alexander Lukashenka on December 31 last year, 1,034,030.3 rubles from a special fund will be allocated to support talented schoolchildren and students.

Presidential scholarships will be awarded to 194 students of higher education institutions. Another 38 winners of international olympiads and competitions will be awarded grand prizes and receive the title of laureates of the special fund.

In addition, special awards have been designated for 320 pupils, cadets, and students.

Among those who will receive a special scholarship for gifted students this year is the name of Lukashenka's youngest son, Nikolai, a 4th-year student of BSU's Faculty of Biology. He has been receiving it regularly since the beginning of his studies.

The amount of this scholarship for the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic year was 251.99 rubles per month.

51 monetary awards will be received by educators and researchers who significantly contributed to the development of gifted youth.

Also, over 100 thousand rubles have been allocated to support talented youth — winners of international music competitions, as well as international and national art and creative competitions.
