Former Anti-Aircraft Gunner from Babruisk Sentenced for Politics. He is an Active Baptist Believer
Anatol Rybak, a former career military officer who tried his hand at business after retiring from service and became an active believer, recently received a sentence. He was accused of "facilitating extremist activity."

Anatol Rybak is 54 years old. He is originally from the village of Smalyany, Orsha district, but finished school in the village of Dokal, Hluski district, Mahilioŭ region.
In 1993, he graduated from the Minsk Higher Anti-Aircraft Missile Engineering School of Air Defense and, with the rank of major, was assigned to the 147th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment in Babruisk (military unit 96869). He served there at least until the late 2000s, and then retired.
After completing his military career, Anatol tried to start his own business: in August 2013, he registered as an individual entrepreneur, with technical maintenance and repair of computer equipment listed as his fields of activity. However, the business did not last long, and the entrepreneurship was liquidated after just ten months. After this, he tried his hand in various fields — for example, network marketing, and also worked with technology as an employee.
Religion plays an important role in Rybak's life. He is an active believer of the "Lord's Grace" church — one of the oldest communities of evangelical Christians-Baptists in Babruisk.
A criminal case was initiated against the former serviceman under Parts 1 and 2 of Art. 361-4 of the Criminal Code ("Facilitating extremist activity"). It appears that the persecution is connected to the Hayun case, but the exact circumstances are unknown.
Rybak was tried in the Mahilioŭ Regional Court. The sentence is "chemistry with direction" (forced labor in an open-type correctional facility) or a penal colony. His wife awaits Anatol at home.
