In Rechytsa District, a semi-truck forced a car off the road

On February 6, at about 10:20 AM, a road accident occurred in Rechytsa District. A 48-year-old driver of a DAF truck with a trailer was moving along the M-10 highway «border of the Russian Federation — Gomel — Kobryn» from the direction of Gomel and lost control.

As a result, the vehicle skidded, veered into the oncoming lane, and collided with a BMW car, driven by a 36-year-old man.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the car and his 37-year-old passenger were taken to the hospital for a medical examination.
