Such meetings of Belarusians happen regularly. People gather to write a few lines of support to those currently imprisoned. The organizers help with everything necessary and store the letters in the Letter Bank so that they truly reach their recipients.
"I am very grateful to all Belarusians who come to these meetings and write letters to our political prisoners – it is truly very important for them. You do this every week, and it seems I will never stop being amazed by the strength of our solidarity," noted the democratic leader.
