«We friendly urge our Belarusian friends». The Russian Foreign Ministry warned Lukashenka to guard Russian interests in relations with the USA
Moscow reminded Minsk about Russian and Chinese interests when concluding a "big deal" with Washington, and also stated that US anti-sanction steps regarding Belarus are not so significant.

Deputy head of the Russian foreign policy department, Mikhail Galuzin, in an interview with TASS, "friendly" urged Belarus to "remain vigilant" when dealing with the USA.
Galuzin was asked how he could comment on the lifting of US sanctions against Belavia airline?
He says he welcomes the exclusion of Belavia airline from the US Treasury's "blacklists", but notes that "overall, the large-scale sanctions regime against Belarus continues to operate".
— American export control restrictions affecting the aviation sector also remain in force. In particular, only eight narrow-body Boeing-737 liners are allowed to be operated. At the same time, obtaining any American spare part or unit in case of a sudden breakdown will require separate approval from "regulators".
Galuzin says that the US administration is not yet abandoning its policy of pressure on Belarus, and «the White House is ready to use levers of economic influence at any moment it deems necessary».
The Russian diplomat says that the Russian Federation welcomes «any constructive initiatives in the context of normalizing the Belarusian-American dialogue and lifting illegal restrictive measures», but at the same time, they "friendly" urge "Belarusian friends to remain vigilant".
The diplomat praised Lukashenka, who, when commenting on the establishment of relations with the USA, constantly emphasizes that this is not to Russia's detriment.
«In this context, we value the public statements of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenka that Minsk's "big deal" with Washington is possible only if the national interests of the Republic of Belarus are taken into account and without detriment to its cooperation with key allies — Russia and China.
However, we are confident that given the special nature of Russian-Belarusian relations, any attempts by unfriendly states to find "gaps" in our positions in international affairs will remain fruitless», — says Galuzin.
