The war in Ukraine will not end in 2026, believes General Ben Hodges

Former commander of the US Army in Europe, General Ben Hodges, believes that the war in Ukraine will not end in 2026.

«No. Russians are not interested in this,» — the general answered the question of whether he believes the war will end this year, in a comment to «Novyny.LIVE».

Hodges believes that the Russians will agree to a truce only under duress. «I don't see the US government putting such pressure on them, unfortunately».

As for Europe, Russians do not respect Europe enough to listen to it, Hodges believes.

    были в Европе 30-летняя и 100-летняя война, судя по темпам продвижения росс. войск, им потребуется минимум 30 лет, чтобы дойти до Львова.

    Очень жаль, что крупнейший конфликт нашего времени разыгрывается прямо у границ Беларуси, из-за этого страдает экономика всего региона, невозможно нормально ездить в Беларусь и из Беларуси в Европу
