The new schedule is effective from today.
The operating hours of paid car parks in the capital have been reduced. This is stipulated by the decision of the Minsk City Executive Committee No. 381 of February 5, 2026, which comes into force today, as reported by BelTA.
Paid parking lots, which previously operated from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, will now be active from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. After this time, parking lots not equipped with time tracking devices and payment calculation for use, or technical means preventing exit in case of non-payment, simply cease to be paid. This applies to all such parking lots, except for the parking lot on Zamkavaya Street.
Parking lots equipped with the aforementioned devices and technical means will also operate according to the same schedule (except for parking lots in the Upper City and Trinity Suburb areas). From 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM, a reduced tariff will apply there.
As previously explained by Andrei Zyranau, CEO of the organization "Garages, Car Parks, and Parking Lots," the changes were introduced so that employees' cars would leave the area, allowing residents to park for free near their homes. They will also have an incentive to move their cars after 8:00 AM to free up space for other road users.
