Baranovichi ambulance paramedic convicted for politics. He was among the best medics in the city

And also created a useful program for colleagues.

In Baranovichi, an ambulance paramedic, who was repeatedly recognized as the best medic in the city, has been declared an "extremist", writes BGmedia.

On March 6, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus updated the "list of citizens of Belarus, foreign citizens or stateless persons involved in extremist activities". 20 people were added to the "list of extremists", which now contains 6,373 names. Among those recognized as an "extremist" was Mikhail Chatyrobok, an ambulance paramedic in Baranovichi.

Mikhail Chatyrobok is 39 years old. Where he works now is unknown, but previously he was an ambulance paramedic in Baranovichi. He was repeatedly recognized as the best medic in the city and awarded honorary certificates.

In September 2023, Mikhail Chatyrobok, along with his team, participated in the III open republican competitions for emergency medical service teams, "where medics demonstrated their theoretical and practical knowledge and skills".

In the same month, the state news agency BelTA interviewed ambulance paramedics and published an article. This is what state journalists wrote about Mikhail Chatyrobok:

"Andrei Fedorov, Mikhail Chatyrobok, and their leader, emergency doctor Alexander Gorbach, are a resuscitation team from Baranovichi. These men truly know what teamwork means."

Mikhail Chatyrobok is also known for creating free programs (applications) for colleagues working in emergency medical care, writes the Telegram channel "Vitebsk, ya gulyayu!" (Vitebsk, I'm walking!).

The man was added to the "list of extremists" on March 6. It is indicated there that he was tried in the Brest Regional Court under both parts of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (facilitating extremist activities). This article has been applied in courts for the "Hayun case" in the last year.

The document states that Mikhail Chatyrobok's "criminal record is not expunged". Most likely, he was sentenced to "home chemistry" (restriction of freedom without being sent to an open-type correctional facility).
