Singer Larisa Dolina asked to be allowed to live for a few more months in the apartment sold in the center of Moscow to collect her belongings, Svetlana Sviridenko, Lurie's lawyer, told RIA Novosti.
However, the current owner intends to refuse the artist.
Today, the Moscow City Court is expected to consider Lurie's lawsuit for forced eviction.
In the summer of 2025, Dolina sold Lurie an apartment for 112 million Russian rubles (about 1 million dollars). She then stated that she acted under the influence of fraudsters and managed to have the deal declared fictitious.
In December, the Supreme Court overturned the decisions of lower courts and recognized Lurie's right to the apartment.
