The tragedy occurred on the morning of December 26 in the agro-town Vyalikiya Chuchavichy. A 35-year-old pedestrian was hit by a passenger bus.

According to the State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI), around five in the morning, a 68-year-old driver behind the wheel of a MAZ bus was driving along Hantsavitskaya Street. At some point, he hit a man who was directly on the road.
The impact was so strong that the pedestrian died on the spot even before the arrival of paramedics.
It is emphasized that the deceased did not have reflective elements, making it difficult to spot him in the dark.
