"Personally for me, the hardest thing is to live like Cristiano Ronaldo, to be such a professional. Honestly and openly - I can't be like him. I need to sit down, drink beer, drink wine somewhere, damn it."
"I don't understand how he lives! Perhaps if I lived like him - strictly, trained, went out at 3 AM - I would have had such a career. For me, this is nonsense!", he added.
Artyom Milevsky (born in 1985 in Minsk) was one of the most talented Belarusian footballers. At 15, he moved to Ukraine, played for Kyiv "Dynamo", and adopted Ukrainian citizenship, which caused hatred among most of the Belarusian fan community. He played for the Ukrainian national team and participated in the World Cup. But his lively life and periodic missteps halted his development; he even fell into an alcoholic coma.
He never played for any top club. His career included Turkish "Gaziantepspor", Croatian "Split" and "'Hajduk", Hungarian "Kisvárda", Brest "Dynamo", and he finished his career in 2021 with Ukrainian "Minai". He scored 399 goals at club level and eight for the national team during his career.
Cristiano Ronaldo - his peer - continues his career at Saudi "Al-Nassr", and still plays for the Portuguese national team. He has 956 career goals and wants to score 1000. Bookmakers give him a 90 percent chance of achieving this.
