In Brest, a car salesman advertised a car and didn't think about winter crops
In Brest, a man involved in car sales damaged elite wheat crops during the filming of a promotional video. Police officers found the video in an online chat, where the capabilities of a Chinese SUV were demonstrated off-road, writes BelTA.
It turned out that for drifting, the video's creator chose an agricultural field near the village of Stradzieč in Brest District. As a result of the car's drive, the wheat crops were damaged, and the local agricultural enterprise suffered losses amounting to about 1.4 thousand rubles.
The culprit turned out to be a 42-year-old resident of Brest. To advertise the new car, he approached bloggers, who helped with the filming and published the video. The man explained that due to the snow, it was not clear that cultivated plants were growing in the field. He admitted his guilt and expressed remorse.
They are still deciding how to punish him.
