Experts named the cause of the fire in the Stolin apartment when 10 people were hospitalized
The fire occurred on December 20 on the third floor of one of the houses on Gagarin Street.

Seven children (five of whom were 3 to 8 years old, two teenagers aged 15-18), as well as three adults, were rescued by MES employees and hospitalized in a healthcare facility.
Initially, the version of the fire being caused by a malfunction of an LED strip located along the perimeter of the hall wall was considered.
However, during the investigation by an expert from the department of the State Committee of Forensic Examinations for the Brest region, the source of the fire was identified in the hall — in the sofa. The cause was playing with matches.
