Simonyan founded an award named after her late husband Tigran Keosayan. Who will receive it?
The well-known Russian propagandist, RT's editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan, announced the establishment of an award named after her late husband, propagandist Tigran Keosayan.

She awarded the first prize to Orenburg educators who protected children from a man with a knife. "I will personally award the prize to people like these educators. That is, simply good, righteous people," wrote the propagandist.
There will be no jury; Simonyan herself will give the award to "good, righteous people." She says her husband would not have wanted any jury.
The award amount will be 1 million Russian rubles (13 thousand dollars).
Simonyan will award it "as such stories emerge," but no less than 10 times a year.
