What is known about the participant in the assassination attempt on the GRU general
The mysterious participant in the assassination attempt on General Alekseev, who managed to leave Moscow, changed her surname upon obtaining Russian citizenship. Her role could have been key in organizing the assassination.

54-year-old Zinaida Antonyuk changed her surname to Serebritskaya upon obtaining Russian citizenship, SHOT writes.
In December 2025, she moved into the same building where GRU General Vladimir Alekseev lives, on Volokolamskoye Highway. All this time, she likely monitored Alekseev.
In early February, Zinaida asked neighbors in the general chat for the code to the intercom door that provides access to the residential complex's territory.
Before this, the woman sold her house in the "LPR" and moved to Moscow.

Immediately after the assassination attempt, Zinaida fled to Ukraine.
SHOT also writes that Lyubomir Korba, the direct perpetrator of the assassination attempt, was born in the Ternopil region of Ukraine in 1960. He was the director of the Polish-Ukrainian company "Terpol" and became a widower.
In 2021, he registered a temporary residence in Nyagan, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. He received his Russian passport quite recently.
His 66-year-old assistant Viktor Vasin, according to SHOT, completed officer courses in "special communications engineer" at the Kemerovo Military School of Communications in the mid-80s. In the 2000s, he started a construction business in Russia, but in 2008, the FSP liquidated his company.
In the mid-2010s, he completed professional retraining courses in fire safety in Russia. After that, he again engaged in business, trading building materials. The end was similar: in 2020, the FSP liquidated both of his companies — "Investstroiproekt" and "Stroymarket".
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation stated that the attackers acted "on the instructions of the special services of Ukraine."
