Catholic Bishop Glorified "The Year of Belarusian Woman" with Utmost Elevation
Bishop Aliaksandr Yasheuski, Vicar General of the Minsk-Mohilev Archdiocese, commented on "The Year of Belarusian Woman," announced by state authorities. The hierarch wrote a lengthy text in which he gave his own interpretation to this idea — a spiritual and lyrical one, noted the publication Katolik.life.

From the bishop's pen came a peculiar hymn to the Belarusian woman:
«You are like a candle before an icon: you burn quietly, but your light is visible from afar. In your eyes — the memory of ancestors and the hope of children, in your heart — an unending prayer, even when your lips are silent.»
The hierarch also wrote to the generalized woman:
«You are the pillar of the home, the silence that heals, the hands that bless, the word that uplifts.»
According to the bishop,
«The Year of Belarusian Woman is a year of thanksgiving to God for your presence, for your wisdom.»
Finally, the hierarch wished:
«May God strengthen your path, protect your tenderness, and multiply your light. For through you, Belarus breathes hope.»
