A resident of Minsk contacted the police after transferring money for a marten fur coat but never receiving the item. She fell for "great discounts" and paid for a product that didn't actually exist.

In a popular social network, the woman found a page selling beautiful fur products at low prices — supposedly due to a sale. She contacted the seller, who confirmed the item's availability and urged her to make the purchase, saying the fur coats would run out quickly. To get the item, she had to transfer the money urgently.
On the same day, the Minsk resident transferred over 700 rubles to the specified account. However, her order was not sent, and the "store" representative stopped responding.
Now, a criminal case for fraud has been initiated regarding this fact.
It is worth remembering that purchases on social networks, especially when full or partial prepayment is required, are very risky. Reviews and numerous likes should not mislead you, as they can be fake. It's better to choose reliable sellers and check their reputation.
