Oil depot on fire in Pskov Oblast — drones broke through protective net
A huge number of videos of the fire at the oil depot in Velikiye Luki, Pskov Oblast, Russia, have appeared online after a drone attack.

This enterprise, owned by LLC "Pskovnefteprodukt", had already been a target for drones in April 2024, but this time the consequences were more serious.
According to ASTRA's analysis, the footage was taken from the territory of the Velikoluksky Meat Processing Plant, located at Liteynaya St., 17. The workers of this plant are likely the ones fleeing in the video in the first minutes after the attack. The distance from the filming location to the oil depot is about 300 meters.
A special protective net was installed over the oil depot's reservoirs. However, according to OSINT analysts and eyewitness accounts, several drones managed to penetrate this structure, which caused the large fire.

The Velikoluksky oil depot is a strategically important hub for the region. It stores gasoline and diesel fuel, which are shipped to gas station networks, transport companies, and local enterprises.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported 113 Ukrainian drones shot down overnight over Russian regions — over Bryansk Oblast, Smolensk, Tver, Novgorod Oblast, Leningrad, Kaluga. However, the summary does not mention Pskov Oblast, where UAVs attacked the oil depot.
