First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Belarus, Alexander Yegorov, spoke on the "First Information" TV channel about the capabilities and services of the first crypto bank, which may start operating in Belarus as early as 2026.

Among the key services are loans secured by cryptocurrency, "crypto deposits" (staking), and crypto cards for paying for purchases with instant conversion to Belarusian rubles.
In addition, self-employed individuals will be able to legally receive payment in cryptocurrency — through the crypto bank's infrastructure, with the possibility of official income accounting and tax payment.
Control over the system will be divided between regulators: the National Bank will oversee the financial part, and the Hi-Tech Park will provide technological expertise. This should increase the transparency of operations and reduce risks for users.
