Preparation for the restoration of a noble estate has begun in the Gomel region
Objects planned for restoration this year in the Gomel region using funds from subbotniks (volunteer workdays), for the first time in recent years, have no connection to "patriotic education" or World War II. These are the estate in the village of Khalch, Vetka district, and the outbuilding of the Kozel-Paklewski estate in Krasny Bereg, Zhlobin district, writes "Flagstock".

The latter object is included in the tourist route "Golden Ring of the Gomel Region". According to local residents' recollections, the outbuilding's kitchen also separately housed a bakery. Above the kitchen lived the estate steward. The second floor contained the reception, the study itself, a living room, and the master's bedroom. During restoration, it is planned to recreate the functionality and atmosphere of the outbuilding's rooms.
The first tender announced is specifically for this object. The service for developing pre-project documentation for repair and restoration work in the outbuilding of the Kozel-Paklewski estate in Krasny Bereg must be completed by the end of June 2026.
The cost of the work is not yet available, but the tender documentation includes archival photos, which will likely be used to recreate the interiors.

In the village of Khalch, the Voynich-Senazhetsky estate and park complex from the late 18th - early 19th century occupies a plot of 1 hectare. This territory includes the building of the palace-estate itself, a monument to fallen soldiers, and two arrays of green plantings. The last restoration of the palace was carried out in the late 1970s. After restoration, the building will house exhibitions dedicated to the history of the village and its owners.
