In Minsk, 26 objects of municipal real estate are offered for free rent. This was reported by the State Property Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee, writes the "Minsk-Novosti" agency.

These premises can be obtained for free use, but on the condition of concluding an agreement and creating new workplaces. This measure is intended to reduce the number of empty buildings and simultaneously support small and medium-sized businesses.
Committee specialists analyze monthly which premises are not used or rented out. After this, some of them are offered to entrepreneurs for free, but with obligations for business development and job creation.
Mostly, isolated premises located in basements or on the first and second floors of residential buildings in various districts of Minsk are offered. Some of them already have the necessary utilities — heating, electricity, and water, but some require renovation.
The largest object is located in the Partyzanski district on Vaneeva Street. This is part of a basement premises in a residential building with an area of about 316 square meters. The smallest are two premises on the first floor of a building on Nezavisimosti Avenue in Pervomaiski district, with an area of about 12 square meters.
