Criminal case opened against Katsiaryna Vadanosava for rehabilitation of Nazism

During the analysis of internet resources, the General Prosecutor's Office "established facts of 'author's' interpretation of historical events from the Second World War on YouTube." Following the study of the collected information, a criminal case was initiated for deliberate actions aimed at rehabilitating Nazism, under Part 3 of Article 130-1.
According to the case materials, "a 39-year-old native of Minsk, referred to as K. and V. [referring to Katsiaryna Vadanosava, who also uses the surname Kalanchuk and has the project 'Trident and Pahonia'], while outside Belarus, in a group with other citizens, systematically produced and posted video clips in the form of educational lectures on a publicly accessible resource. In these, she manipulated individual facts from the country's history. At the same time, being the host of a podcast, she positioned herself as a competent person with knowledge of this historical period," states the General Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors saw in some videos "fabrications in which the suspect glorified Nazi criminals and their collaborators, including representatives of nationalist collaborationist formations ('Auxiliary Police', Belarusian Central Rada, and others), deliberately praising them, as well as the crimes they committed against the civilian population of the BSSR." The woman also allegedly praised the Gauleiter of Belarus, Wilhelm Kube.
