English fox repeated the feat of Sena the raccoon and is now settling in America
A fox from Great Britain secretly snuck onto a cargo ship carrying cars and traveled on it from Southampton, England, to New York. According to information from The Guardian, at the Bronx Zoo in Brooklyn, where the fox is currently located, they noted that after the initial examination, she appears healthy.

It is not yet known how the male common fox got onto the ship and managed to travel about 3400 miles to the eastern coast of the USA.
The ship left Southampton on February 4 and arrived at the Port of New York and New Jersey on February 18. There, port employees noticed a "cunning stowaway". Agricultural specialists organized the transfer of the fox to its new home — the Bronx Zoo — the very next day.
The fox is approximately two years old, weighing about 5 kg.
“He seems to be settling in well. He’s been through a lot,” said Keith Lovett, director of animal programs at the zoo. After additional medical examinations, the animal's permanent place of residence will be determined.
At the zoo's veterinary center, the fox receives a varied diet: fruits, vegetables, protein products, and special feed in the form of biscuits.
Quite recently, a similar story happened with an American raccoon, which arrived in a container with cars from the USA to Belarus and is now settling in at the "Dipriz" animal park near Baranavichy. Initially, they thought it was a male and named it Sena, but it turned out to be a female.
