Worker dies at Mikashevichy's "Granit" during work

A 41-year-old worker from Mikashevichy has died in Luninets District. This was reported by the local publication Luninets.online, citing the district department of the Investigative Committee.

The man worked as an assistant machinist at the "Granit" enterprise in the "Mikashevichy" quarry. The tragedy occurred on the evening of March 13 while a drilling rig was being moved.

According to his colleague, the deceased was monitoring a cable located behind the equipment. When the rig stopped, the man was found unconscious with a severe injury. Medics who arrived at the scene pronounced him dead.

The circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated. A criminal case has been initiated under the article on causing death by negligence.
