Keir Starmer will refuse to join Trump's Peace Council

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will refuse to join the "Peace Council" for governing the Gaza Strip, which is being created by US President Donald Trump, writes the Financial Times, citing an unnamed British official.

Norway has also refused to participate in the Peace Council. Its Foreign Ministry stated that this proposal contradicts existing UN principles.

Earlier, it became known that French President Emmanuel Macron also refuses to participate in Donald Trump's initiative. Trump after that promised to introduce a 200 percent tariff on French wines.
