The Belarusian energy system has been put on high alert in anticipation of snowfall. This was reported by "Belenergo" in connection with the worsening weather.

Currently, about 670 brigades have been formed to eliminate possible damages, more than 720 units of special equipment have been prepared, and about 300 diesel generator sets have been checked.
Technical personnel have been switched to an intensified work regime, and round-the-clock monitoring of the situation has been organized.
Forecasters announced an orange alert level for Tuesday, January 27: heavy snow, black ice, and slippery roads are expected.
