Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenka will hold a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State at the end of February, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced today.

"A meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, chaired by the presidents of Russia and Belarus, is scheduled for the end of this month," Mishustin said, opening a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State in Moscow, where Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchyn arrived.
The Russian Prime Minister emphasized that the main task of today's meeting is to "ensure the preparation of the upcoming meeting" of the leaders of the two countries.
