Today, during a visit to the Planar enterprise, the politician reminded that 2026 has been declared the Year of the Belarusian Woman in Belarus.

"Slogans are good. But we need to do something for women, not every day, but at least once a week, once a month, a significant event. The year will pass, and women will remember this Year of Women. We need to do our utmost for our women this year. And this is not to please you, women. You are truly the foundation of our life," he said.
Alexander Lukashenka instructed to consider what events to hold this year so that it would be remembered.
Addressing, among others, the present Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic, Natalya Kochanova, and press secretary Natalya Eismant, he said: "Think together with the Union of Women how we can make women remember not only that I declared the Year of Women, but that they remember this year. What should we do, what events should we hold? And don't look at men. They will adapt. Think about it, Natalya Ivanovna, you are responsible for this. Whatever you say, that's what we will do."
