Night train from Vitebsk delayed — passengers accommodated in a hotel in the capital
Train No. 711 Vitebsk — Minsk arrived in the capital at night with a delay of almost two hours.
Belarusian Railways accommodated some passengers of the delayed train from Vitebsk in the capital's "Express" hotel, Sputnik was told by the railway station's information service.
Train No. 711 Vitebsk-Minsk departed from Vitebsk station on January 31 at 19:04 and arrived in Minsk almost two hours late — at 1:32 on February 1.
“Passengers who needed to wait until public transport started running in Minsk were accommodated in the "Express" hotel,” the railway station's information service said.
They did not specify how many passengers took advantage of this opportunity.
The scheduled arrival time of the train in the Belarusian capital was 22:43, but due to technical reasons, the train was stopped at the Bahusheŭskaja section.
The delay at Zhodzina station was 2 hours and 20 minutes; it also arrived late in Minsk.
