In Minsk, a Drunk Man Stole a Phone, Keys, and Glasses from a Schoolboy

The incident happened in September, and now the court case has concluded.

One evening, a man was walking through a school in the Maskouski district of the capital. In the grass, he noticed a mobile phone, sunglasses, and a bunch of keys and took them for himself, Minsk-News reports.

The next day, the culprit pawned the phone and left the keys and glasses at his home.

The schoolboy's parents filed a report with the police, estimating the damage caused at 820 rubles.

The man's identity was established through surveillance camera recordings, and a criminal case was initiated against him. He fully admitted his guilt, expressed remorse for his actions, and voluntarily compensated for the damage caused.

The court sentenced him to three months of arrest.
