Dozens of bats were thrown onto the snow near a gymnasium in Salihorsk. What happened next?
On the morning of February 2, in the courtyard of Gymnasium No. 1 in Salihorsk, people saw a horrifying scene: several dozens of bats lay on the snow in the bitter cold. How they ended up there was reported by the local publication "Shahter".

As commented to the publication by the Education Department of the Salihorsk District Executive Committee, on February 2 at 7:30 AM, in the Russian language classroom on the second floor, when the light was switched on, a through-hole was discovered in the wall under the windowsill.
On the floor and on the table near the hole, there were traces of animal activity, an unpleasant smell and squeaking, and sounds of rustling were heard.
Presumably, the bats, which were hibernating on the facade of the gymnasium building, in severe frost began to seek warmth from the radiator and gnawed through the insulation under the window frame, officials explained.
Teachers contacted the Ministry of Emergency Situations. An hour later, they arrived. After inspecting the scene, they extracted about 230 bats from the hole.
Gymnasium staff collected the animals, placed them in insulated boxes, and transported them to the heating main, the education department asserts.
