The state enterprise "Minsk Heritage", which owns not only the Red Church in Minsk, but also the church in Kalvaryiski Cemetery, is starting renovation works on this church, as well as the burial chapels and the entrance gate.

The first stage will be the execution of survey works on the object — as we noticed, a corresponding tender has appeared to find a contractor. According to the procurement, these works should begin in the second half of February, writes katolik.life.
For now, it's only about surveying the technical condition of the walls, foundations, roof, and interior decoration, based on the results of which specialists should issue a conclusion. This means that scaffolding will soon appear in the church.
Will it be closed to worshippers? Earlier it was reported that this might happen.
There is no public information about this yet — neither from state organizations nor from the parish. The community's public pages have not posted any announcements on this matter — currently, services are being held without changes.
However, as Metropolitan of Minsk-Mogilev Archbishop Józef Staniewski said earlier, the parish will be forced to look for a temporary location, as the state organization plans renovations there. However, the situation has not been officially commented on since then.
